This was a trip and experience my wife and I will never forget. TJ and Paul were the best hosts. The Chalet is so cosy, always with the fire on, food on table and a great bottle of wine open. Speaking of food, TJ cooks up the most amazing dishes (including homemade cakes) and can cater to any dietary needs. We had vegan, veggie and gluten free individuals in our group and no one was ever without something delicious to fill them up. They make you feel like you’re at home and the location is superb, just a short drive (which they chauffeur you to and from) to the best ski lifts in the area. It is as easy and enjoyable an experience you could imagine and coming home to their wonderful dog Paddy and a warm hot tub is the cherry on top. We willl no doubt be back in the future, bringing others with me to share this special place. What a find!

I very rarely leave reviews but our experience at chalet chardonet was too good to pass without comment. TJ and Paul offer a very rare combination of high end quality ,great service in a warm welcoming environment. The food is outstanding, the beverages top notch and the transportation to the numerous world class ski areas seamless. Paddy their amazing golden doodle was the icing on one of the numerous fabulous home made cakes we enjoyed . We will be back to enjoy the beautiful chalet and the wonderful experience again next winter.

A big thanks to both you and TJ for a brilliant week in your chalet. Your hosting was a huge success both in culinary terms and in the ends you went to to ensure we were all so well looked after. The chauffeuring service to the different ski areas was a particular bonus well beyond what I had anticipated
and enabled us to go to the right places for the right conditions for which we were all very grateful.
The chalet itself had a warm and welcoming charm including the well patronised hot tub and table tennis. But to cap all of that TJs catering was exemplary and your supply of really good wines for each meal much appreciated. All in all 5+ stars! Thank you very very much.

We are just returning from a stay at Chalet Chardonneret - voted unanimously by our family of six as hands down the best ski holiday we have ever had.
A beautiful chalet in an amazing location - we skied a different resort every day we were there, kindly and patiently ferried to and fro by Paul who our children were referring to as the GOAT even by the middle of the week. TJ’s cooking was just amazing - all her food is amazing but her canapés and cakes deserve particularly special mention - you will not find better anywhere. And Paul’s wines were so good we left with several cases of our favorites stashed in the footwells of our car.
The hot tub was a welcome relief at the end of long days skiing and the nearby Monal a lovely spot to pop out to for a meal on a night out.
Overall I cannot express enough how grateful we are for our week - not just for the fabulous stay and food and insight and info, but most of all for the fabulous hospitality.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had this week, we would absolutely love to come back, and we would all whole heartedly recommend Chalet Chardonneret lucky enough to chance upon it.

We have been lucky enough to stay at Chalet Chardonneret on several occasions and we absolutely love it!
Situated in a peaceful, non-touristy, authentically French village with access to endless on and off-piste skiing in several resorts - it's complete alpine heaven.
The chalet is homely and cosy with luxurious touches like comfy beds, fluffy robes, slippers and a bubbling hot tub with breath-taking views.
Paul and TJ are the most wonderful hosts and make the perfect team. TJ’s cooking is top notch, from high-end dining to home-cooked classics (and the moreish cakes in-between) everything is plentiful and delicious. Paul carefully pairs meals with selected wines and keeps the fire and our glasses stoked at all times. The third member of the in-chalet team, Padfoot, is there to be stroked and fussed just as you start to miss your own pooch back at home. What more could you ask for? apart from a longer stay."

TJ & Paul’s chalet is simply wonderful and you will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming, homely chalet anywhere, let alone in the middle of numerous ski resorts that Paul will happily drive you to and from; Val d;Isère, Tignes, La Rosière, Les Arcs and of course St Foy.
Chalet Chardonneret has a huge lounge with great views, a big fire and sofas perfect for slouching - usually with a drink after fantastic food cooked by the chef, TJ.
The chalet’s bedrooms all have ensuites, and the decor is great, not the usual dowdy alpine routine, but comfortable beds with blankets folded over corners… you know what I mean.
Boot warmers, ski lockers, a seriously cute dog called ‘Paddy’ and even a jacuzzi. What more do you need!
